Dos & Don'ts While Bursting Crackers

• Use fireworks outdoor only.
• Buy fireworks from authorized and reputed manufactures only.
• Light one firework at a time. Others should watch from a safe distance.
• Keep fireworks to be used in a safe place.
• Always use a agarpathi or sparklers for igniting fire crackers and keep elbow straight to increase the distance between the body and the crackers.
• Keep a bucket of water handy. In the event of fire, extinguish flame by pouring water from the bucket.
• In case of burns, pour large quantity of water on the burnt area.
• The patient should be taken to a burns specialist or a major hospital.
• In case of a eye burns, wash the eye with the tap water for 10 mins and take the victim to a hospital.

• Don't approach immediately to the misfired fireworks.

• Don't wear synthetic clothing, always use only cotton clothing.
